Audi India Expands EV Charging Network to 6,500+ Points
Audi India has expanded its ‘Charge My Audi’ network to over 6,500 EV charging points across 850+ cities, with 75% locations now featuring DC fast chargers.

Audi India has significantly expanded its electric vehicle (EV) charging network under the 'Charge My Audi' initiative, reaching over 6,500 charging points across the country. In the second phase of its EV infrastructure rollout, 75% of these locations now feature DC fast-charging technology, enhancing convenience and reducing charging time for customers.

The German luxury automaker has added more than 5,500 new charging points at critical touchpoints such as highways, urban centers, and commercial hubs. This expansion is part of Audi’s broader electric mobility strategy to support EV adoption in India.

To power this growth, Audi has partnered with 16 additional EV infrastructure providers. The network now spans 28 states and union territories, covering over 850 cities and 4,700+ locations. The integrated system offers features like real-time charger availability, route planning, and start/stop access via the 'myAudi Connect' app.

Commenting on the development, Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, said, “With over 6,500 charging points and a strong focus on DC fast chargers, we are simplifying electric mobility for our customers and enhancing accessibility nationwide.”

Audi has also extended its complimentary charging benefit for all e-tron customers until December 31, 2025, further boosting convenience and cost-efficiency.

The charging network is powered by multiple ChargePoint Operators, including Shell India, Adani Total Energies E-Mobility Ltd., Charge Zone, Statiq, and Gentari India. The platform is supported by Numocity Technology’s eMSP system, enabling real-time data and public station integration.

Building on the success of Phase I, which introduced route-mapping tools and destination charging hubs, this expansion directly addresses range anxiety—one of the primary concerns for EV buyers in India.

With India's luxury EV segment growing rapidly, Audi remains a pioneer in the space, being one of the first premium brands to launch a full EV lineup with its e-tron series. The company, which recently delivered its 100,000th vehicle in India, continues to invest in sustainable mobility and future-ready infrastructure.
