Boba Bhai, India’s known Korean fusion food brand, has secured ₹90 lakh investment for 1% equity from renowned investors Namita Thapar and Viraj Bahl on Shark Tank India Season 4. The deal underscores strong investor confidence in Boba Bhai’s growth trajectory and its potential to revolutionize the bubble tea market in India.
Dhruv Kohli, Founder, Boba Bhai, expressed excitement about the milestone, stating, “Shark Tank India was an incredible platform to showcase Boba Bhai’s journey. For Boba Bhai, events play a crucial role in brand engagement, featuring a diverse menu that includes 15 burger options, 7 ice cream flavours, and 20 boba tea flavours. The brand operates in compact yet efficient outlets ranging between 150-200 sq. ft., supported by a central commissary in Bengaluru. From a business standpoint, Boba Bhai follows a strategic approach wherein profitable cloud kitchens are later converted into physical stores, ensuring sustainable expansion.
Since its inception in 2023, Boba Bhai has redefined the Korean fusion food space in India, blending traditional and contemporary flavours to create an unparalleled experience.
