India’s homegrown burger chain, Burger Singh, has unveiled its latest outlet at Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun. This marks the brand’s second airport location and its fifth outlet in Uttarakhand. The launch aligns with Burger Singh’s strategic push into transit hubs across tier 2 and tier 3 cities, where rapid development in travel infrastructure is driving new consumer demand.
Designed on the brand’s efficient kiosk model, the Dehradun airport outlet is tailored for high-footfall areas and quick service in compact spaces. This lean format enables Burger Singh to scale its presence across major transit points nationwide, without the high overheads typically associated with traditional QSR setups.
“Our airport strategy is rooted in high-throughput, low-capex formats that allow us to rapidly scale in fast-growing micro markets,” said Kabir Jeet Singh, Founder & CEO. “With increased mobility in Tier 2 and 3 cities, airports are becoming significant touchpoints for brand visibility, top-line growth, and consumer acquisition.”
As part of its broader expansion roadmap, Burger Singh plans to open outlets in airports including Ranchi, Mangalore, Jammu, Vadodara, Bhopal, Surat, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Rajkot, Imphal, Guwahati, Thiruvananthapuram, Chandigarh, Indore, and Varanasi in the near future.
The brand continues to leverage a mix of strategic locations, airports, highways, hospitals, and university campuses, to strengthen both reach and recall. The Dehradun outlet not only enhances accessibility to the brand for domestic travelers, but also contributes to the local economy by generating direct and indirect employment and offering entrepreneurial opportunities through its franchise-first approach.
Burger Singh aims to scale to over 300 outlets by the end of FY26, supported by its low-capex (sub 20 lakhs) models, efficient supply chain, and strong regional partnerships.
The company launched its first outlet in 2014 in the city of Gurugram, and since then, the chain has seen a rapid rollout across India, with over 175 outlets in 75 cities like Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Shillong, Jaipur, Dehradun, Jammu, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Amritsar & others.
With the recent pre-series B funding round Burger Singh is now valued at Rs 430 crores.
