Mumbai-based vegetarian restaurant brand Cream Centre has made its debut in Bengaluru with a new outlet at the Mall of Asia, marking a significant milestone as the brand celebrates 65 years in India’s dining landscape. Founded in 1958, Cream Centre has long been credited with popularising several iconic dishes in Mumbai—from Nachos and its signature Original Channa Bhature to the ever-popular Sizzling Brownie. Over the years, the brand has cultivated a loyal following with its blend of indulgent comfort food, evolving menus, and a dining experience rooted in both nostalgia and innovation.
The brand’s journey has been shaped by Chairman Sanjiv Chona, whose vision transformed Cream Centre from a single Mumbai establishment into a recognised national chain. Today, its next chapter of growth is being helmed by CEO Rishi Chona, who is steering the brand toward a more modern dining experience while staying true to its cherished legacy.
Speaking about the Bengaluru launch, Rishi Chona shared, “Bringing Cream Centre to Bengaluru feels like sharing a piece of Mumbai’s soul with this vibrant city. We are excited to introduce Bengaluru to the dishes that have defined Mumbai’s dining culture—from our classic Chole Bhature and Nachos to our new-age creations—crafted with the same authentic flavours that generations have loved.”
The new Mall of Asia outlet carries a contemporary design language that reflects Cream Centre’s core philosophy—honouring tradition while embracing modern culinary preferences.
With its Bengaluru entry, the brand aims to deepen its footprint in South India and bring its timeless favourites to a fresh and growing audience.
