Tata Group’s consumer electronics retail chain Croma, operated by Infiniti Retail Ltd, has further strengthened its presence in Tamil Nadu with the launch of a new store in Chennai. The latest outlet, located at RR Shopping Complex on Mudichur Road in Tambaram West, is Croma’s 22nd store in the city and 38th in the state.
Spanning 6,540 square feet, the store is part of Croma’s broader strategy to meet rising demand for consumer electronics in key urban hubs. The expansion comes as Chennai continues to grow, particularly in rapidly developing suburban areas like Tambaram.
Speaking on the launch, a Croma spokesperson said, “The Tambaram West store highlights our continued focus on reaching customers where they are. As Chennai expands, we are excited to bring our wide selection of quality electronics and trusted service to this growing part of the city, ensuring a seamless and satisfying shopping experience.”
With more than 560 stores across 200 cities nationwide, Croma offers over 16,000 products from 560+ brands, ranging from gadgets and home appliances to personal care electronics. The retailer’s ongoing expansion underlines its commitment to scaling operations in India’s competitive consumer durables market.
