Curefoods Acquires Krispy Kreme’s South and West India Operations

Curefoods has announced the acquisition of Krispy Kreme’s South and West India operations from Landmark Group. This strategic move aims to diversify Curefoods’ portfolio and strengthen its presence in India’s growing foodservice and retail markets.  

The acquisition includes nearly 50 existing Krispy Kreme outlets previously managed by Landmark Group. As part of the agreement, Curefoods has entered into a multi-year franchise deal with Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation, planning to expand to over 350 additional outlets across India within the next five years. Landmark Hospitality Services Limited will also take a stake in Curefoods, further solidifying the partnership.

Founded in 2020, Curefoods operates over 500 cloud kitchens and offline stores in 40 cities across India. Its portfolio includes brands like EatFit, Cakezone, Nomad Pizza, and Sharief Bhai Biryani, catering to a wide range of cuisines.  

Krispy Kreme, known for its iconic Original Glazed doughnuts, operates in 40 countries with over 15,500 access points. The brand is recognized for its signature doughnuts and community-oriented approach.  

Landmark Group, established in 1973, is a leading retail and hospitality conglomerate with operations in the Middle East, Africa, India, and Southeast Asia. The group manages over 2,200 outlets and 22 homegrown brands across fashion, home, grocery, and electronics retail.
