
Dassault Systèmes has announced a strategic collaboration with BluMotiv, a deep-tech mobility company specializing in smart, scalable, and sustainable electrified transport. This partnership aims to revolutionize electric vehicle (EV) powertrain development through advanced simulation and AI-driven technology.
Enabled by Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform and the BIOVIA Contract Research program, the collaboration will leverage BIOVIA battery chemistry modelling to enhance EV performance. The technology will improve range predictions, optimize charging strategies, and extend battery longevity, directly addressing key concerns such as range anxiety and performance reliability.
With the adoption of virtual twin technology, the companies expect to reduce development costs by up to 60% and increase energy efficiency by 20%, significantly boosting the efficiency of EV powertrains.
