Delhivery launches over 1000 Vishram centres for delivery partners

Logistics service provider Delhivery has launched a nationwide network of more than 1,000 dedicated rest facilities, called Vishram, for delivery associates.

The initiative, introduced as the company marks 15 years of operations in India, is designed to provide delivery personnel with access to rest and recovery spaces. The facilities are open to all delivery workers, irrespective of the platform, organisation, or sector they belong to, including e-commerce, quick commerce, food delivery, and traditional courier services.

“Through the ‘Vishram’ initiative, we are actively addressing this structural gap. We chose the name Vishram because it represents more than just a physical shelter—it represents a hard-earned pause, comfort and dignity for India’s mobile workforce,” said Prashant Gazipur, Chief Operating Officer – Operations, Delhivery.

The Vishram network is operational across nearly 600 cities and towns in India, covering major metropolitan centres as well as emerging markets. Key locations include Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Indore, Coimbatore, Dehradun, Ludhiana, Udaipur, Vadodara, Jamshedpur, Thiruvananthapuram and Cuttack, among others.
