Eicher Trucks and Buses, a division of VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV), has announced a strategic partnership with Magenta Mobility to supply its newly launched Eicher Pro X small electric truck. The collaboration kicks off with an initial order of 100 units, with the first batch featuring a 1.7-tonne payload set to be deployed in Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai as part of a phased rollout.
Unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, the Eicher Pro X is designed for the 2-3.5-tonne segment, catering to mid-mile and last-mile delivery needs in industries such as e-commerce, FMCG, and parcel services. Co-developed with leading logistics players, the truck features spacious cargo capacity, energy efficiency, and driver-centric enhancements like air-conditioned cabins, advanced safety systems, and an industry-leading turning radius for seamless city and near-city operations.
To ensure high operational reliability, the vehicles will be backed by Eicher’s Uptime Centre, offering 24/7 monitoring, AI/ML-driven remote diagnostics, and FOTA-enabled telematics through the 'My Eicher' app. A strong nationwide service network comprising 1,000+ touchpoints, 470+ service centers, and 7,000+ parts outlets will provide extensive support for fleet operators.

Magenta Mobility, a leader in integrated e-mobility solutions, will integrate these trucks into its fleet of over 2,600 electric vehicles, operating across 18+ cities. Under its ambitious ‘Ab Ki Baar Dus Hazaar’ campaign, Magenta Mobility aims to expand its fleet to 10,000 electric cargo vehicles. The company is actively supporting industries such as e-commerce, grocery, FMCG, and pharmaceuticals, operating 100 charging depots, completing 1.4 million monthly deliveries, and logging 35.2 million clean kilometers. These efforts have resulted in offsetting 1,030 tonnes of CO2 emissions, while also creating employment opportunities for over 2,700 delivery executives.
