The world’s most Instagrammable café, EL&N Café, is set to make its debut in India on October 17 at the Jio World Plaza in Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai, as premium café chains tap into the country’s growing base of affluent consumers.
EL&N, which stands for Eat, Live & Nourish Café, was launched in 2017 by fashion and lifestyle entrepreneur Alexandra Miller. Known for its signature pink interiors, floral installations, and neon signage with inspirational quotes, the café offers a distinctive experience, combining all-day dining, a patisserie, and specialty coffee, according to industry experts.
As per recent media reports, that India will be the eighth country where EL&N operates, and the Mumbai outlet will be its 36th location globally. As luxury brands across fashion, cosmetics, and food continue to enter the Indian market, EL&N joins this wave of international expansion.
Last month, Armani/Caffe, a boutique café owned by renowned fashion designer Giorgio Armani, also opened a location at Jio World Plaza. Both EL&N and Armani/Caffe are brought to India through franchise agreements with Reliance Brands, a division of Reliance Retail.
While Mumbai marks the starting point for these luxury café chains, sources suggest that future expansions could see them establishing outlets in other major cities like Delhi and Bengaluru.
