As per a recent post on social media ,The Commissioner of Food Safety, Telangana raided a warehouse of Zomato-owned Blinkit and found numerous health violations.  The inspection was conducted in a warehouse at Devar Yamjal, Medchal Malkajgiri District on June 5. The Commissioner of Food Safety, Telangana, shared the post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).

“The Kamakshi Foods license was found to be expired, hence VSR items like Suji, Raw peanut butter, Maida, Poha, Besan, and Bajra worth Rs 30,000 were seized,” the post read.

The food safety department also suspected that other commodities, such as whole farm ragi flour and toor dal, were infested, and their samples were sent to a lab for testing. “Suspected infested Whole Farm Ragi flour and Toor dal worth Rs. 52000 were seized and samples sent to the lab,” it read.
