Coffee Island’s India expansion now covers Delhi, Gurugram, and Hyderabad, with plans to enter Mumbai, Bangalore, and Pune, targeting 250 cafés by 2029.

Coffee Island, in collaboration with Vita Nova, has launched its first café in Delhi, expanding the brand’s presence in India with its third outlet. Located in the high-street neighbourhood of Greater Kailash II M Block, this is Coffee Island’s first 24-hour café in the country, operational all week. The new space highlights Coffee Island’s European coffee format, incorporating in-house roasting techniques and multiple brewing styles. The café offers Global Single Estate Beans, proprietary Global Blends, and Home Blends. The Delhi outlet also adds a variety of curated beverages such as the Prebiotic Overnight Brew, Java Chip Killer, Islander Cold Coffee, The Long Pour, and Bobastic Coffeeccino.

Food offerings have been developed by international chef Arjyo Banerjee and include items like Pepperoncini Spaghetti Aglio Olio, Mediterranean Quinoa Bliss Bowl, and Roasted Tomato Basil Bocconcini Pide. Desserts such as Banoffee with Nolen Gur, Rocky Road Muffins, and Custard-filled Croissants round out the menu.

Konstantinos Konstantinopoulos, CEO, Coffee Island said, “Coffee Island’s entry into the Delhi market marks a transformative milestone in our journey of growth in India. Through our invaluable partnership with Vita Nova, we have been able to authentically tailor our offering to local tastes while upholding the highest global standards of quality.

Pratyush Sureka, Founder of Vita Nova added, “Following our successful launches in Gurgaon and Hyderabad, foraying into Delhi was a strategic next move in Coffee Island’s India growth journey.

The café also retails ready-to-consume items such as Cold Brews, Protein Coffee, Iced Teas, Pour Overs, Craft Chocolates, and Ready-to-Eat products. The outlet has been designed with eco-conscious principles aimed at minimizing environmental impact.

Coffee Island’s India expansion now covers Delhi, Gurugram, and Hyderabad, with plans to enter Mumbai, Bangalore, and Pune, targeting 250 cafés by 2029. International expansion is also on the agenda, with locations planned in Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, and the Maldives.

Sustainability remains a core focus. Coffee Island sources beans through fair trade practices from small farmers, upcycles coffee waste into usable products, and uses biodegradable cups that can sprout into plants.
