
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) closed FY 2024-25 with total sales of 5.83 million units, marking a 19% year-on-year growth. In March 2025, the company sold 427,448 units, including 401,411 units in the domestic market and 26,037 units in exports.
During the fiscal year, HMSI entered the electric mobility segment with the launch of ACTIVA e: and QC1 electric scooters. Bookings for these models began on January 1, 2025, and deliveries started in March 2025. Additionally, the company introduced India’s first 300cc flex-fuel motorcycle, CB300F Flex-Fuel, promoting sustainable mobility. HMSI also upgraded its entire lineup with OBD2B-compliant models, covering popular vehicles like Activa, Dio, Shine series, and others.
In the premium motorcycle segment, Honda BigWing strengthened its portfolio with the launch of the all-new NX200, CB650R, and CBR650R. Meanwhile, the 125cc segment saw significant milestones, with Shine and SP125 crossing 3 million customers in Eastern India and 1 million customers in Madhya Pradesh. Honda also surpassed 20 million sales in South India, highlighting its strong market presence.
On the corporate social responsibility (CSR) front, Honda India Foundation expanded its Project Pragati initiative and launched "Project Buniyaad - Aathmanirbharta Ka Aadhar" in collaboration with the Mizoram Youth Commission and Visan Foundation. The foundation also introduced the "Stree Saarthi... Steering Her Own Path" women empowerment program.
To promote road safety awareness, HMSI conducted campaigns in over 120 cities, educating more than 9.7 million citizens on the importance of safe driving practices.
In motorsports, HMSI celebrated major achievements, with Mohsin Paramban winning the 2024 IDEMITSU Honda Indian Talent Cup NSF250R. Meanwhile, Monster Energy Honda HRC secured a double podium at the Dakar Rally for the second consecutive year, with Tosha Schareina and Adrien Van Beveren finishing second and third, respectively.
