Isuzu Motors India showcased its innovative D-MAX BEV at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, highlighting the company’s shift toward sustainable electric mobility.

Isuzu Motors India made a significant impact at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 with the unveiling of its Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) prototype, the D-MAX BEV. First introduced in Thailand earlier this year, the D-MAX BEV marks a pivotal step in the company's journey toward sustainable innovation and future-ready solutions.

The D-MAX BEV is designed to meet a wide array of commercial and passenger vehicle needs while maintaining the rugged performance expected from pickup trucks. Equipped with a full-time 4WD system and newly developed e-Axles at both the front and rear, the vehicle offers exceptional performance on rough terrain and linear acceleration. With a high towing capacity and a durable frame, the D-MAX BEV promises to perform just as well as existing diesel-powered models.

Alongside the D-MAX BEV, Isuzu also showcased the accessorized version of the D-MAX S-CAB Z. Known for its durability and efficiency, the D-MAX S-CAB Z continues to be a preferred choice for commercial operations, offering outstanding performance and versatility. Both models reflect Isuzu’s Bharat Mobility theme of “Now… and Forever,” emphasizing the company’s commitment to the present and the future.

In 2024, Isuzu Motors India achieved significant milestones, including the production of its one lakh vehicle at its advanced manufacturing facility in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh. This achievement was marked by the rollout of the highly popular Isuzu D-MAX, a model that has earned a reputation for its reliability and durability. Additionally, Isuzu further strengthened its position as a leading exporter of commercial vehicles from India, reaffirming its commitment to ‘Make-in-India.’

As Isuzu continues to ramp up production, the company is expanding its presence across the country. Looking ahead, Isuzu plans to strategically increase its touch points to bring the brand closer to its customers. The company is also making strides in workforce diversity, with 22% of its production line workforce comprising talented women, underscoring its commitment to inclusivity and empowerment.

With a focus on delivering vehicles based on quality, reliability, and innovation, Isuzu’s philosophy of “Never Stop” remains at the core of its operations, driving the company forward in its mission to create meaningful mobility solutions for the future.
