Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility, renowned for its electric vehicle brands 'Joy e-bike' and 'Joy e-rik', has announced its entry into the fleet operations and last-mile delivery mobility sector under its flagship brand, Joy e-bike. In partnership with SpeedforcEV, operating under the Optimotion banner, the company has launched its first batch of 100 electric two-wheelers in Hyderabad.
This move marks a major step towards offering sustainable and technology-driven solutions to delivery partners and fleet operators across India. Unlike traditional fleet operations that focus only on vehicle deployment, Wardwizard is adopting a unique holistic approach. This includes not just vehicle supply but also 24/7 maintenance, spare parts availability, charging infrastructure, financing solutions, and insurance services, all facilitated through strategic partnerships.
The integrated approach aims to eliminate downtime for fleet operators, optimising vehicle uptime and revenue potential. Key partners in this initiative include Bluebells for cashless insurance services, Mangalam Industrial Finance for financing, Ampvolts for charging stations, and SpeedforcEV for spare parts and maintenance.
The initial deployment, which includes prominent companies such as Zomato, Swiggy, Flipkart, Amazon, and BigBasket, will expand rapidly to major metropolitan cities such as Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bangalore, and Surat.
Yatin Gupte, Chairman and Managing Director of Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility, highlighted the significance of the project, saying, "This is a landmark moment for the Indian EV industry as we build a complete end-to-end ecosystem to support fleet operations. Our collaboration with key industry players ensures a hassle-free experience for businesses, maximising uptime and revenue potential."
Looking to the future, Wardwizard plans the deployment of 8,000 vehicles by March 2025, with an ambitious target of 50,000 vehicles by March 2026, further driving EV adoption in the country. The company also intends to extend its partnerships with B2B, B2C, and retail players, enhancing its presence in the rapidly growing electric mobility sector.
