Jubilant Foodworks Ltd (JFL) reported a multi-fold increase in its consolidated net profit to Rs 208.24 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2024, seven times more than what it posted in the year-ago period.
The company, which operates fast-food chains – Domino’s Pizza and Dunkin’ Donuts, had posted a net profit of Rs 28.54 crore in the January-March quarter of the previous fiscal, according to a regulatory filing from Jubilant Foodworks Ltd (JFL).
In a year, 356 new stores were opened, averaging about one per day, bringing the JFL Group Network to nearly 3,000 stores across six markets – India, Turkey, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan and Georgia. Jubilant opened 67 new Domino’s stores during the quarter, contributing to an overall revenue increase of nearly 24% to Rs 1,572.8 crore.
JFL currently operates 1,995 restaurants under brand Domino’s. As per the company’s investor presentation, there is potential to scale up the Domino’s network in India to about 4,000 restaurants in the medium term.
