KP Group, a Surat-based renewable energy conglomerate, and Delta Electronics India, a leader in power and energy management, have signed three significant Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) to support India’s green energy transition. These agreements aim to strengthen India’s decarbonization mission through Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), green hydrogen production, EV charging infrastructure, and solar PV inverters.
Under the first MoU, KP Group will lead the planning, development, and site integration for BESS projects, while Delta will supply power electronics, energy management systems, smart monitoring, and remote diagnostics technologies. The goal is to create large-scale, scalable energy storage systems tailored to future energy demands.
The second MoU focuses on setting up integrated green hydrogen plants and EV charging hubs. KP Group will develop hydrogen plants powered by renewable energy, while Delta will provide crucial technologies like hydrogen compression, dispensing systems, and EV chargers. Both companies will also collaborate on skill development for operating these stations.
Under the third agreement, Delta will supply KP Group with 1 GW of advanced grid-connected solar inverters within the next year. These inverters will support both solar and hybrid configurations and feature smart grid compatibility. With KP Group already having developed over 5.75 GW of renewable energy assets, this collaboration is expected to significantly boost clean energy adoption and contribute to India’s sustainable development goals.
