Numeros Motors has launched its new multipurpose electric scooter, Diplos Max, marking its entry into the personal mobility segment. Priced at ₹1,12,199 (ex-showroom), the e-scooter is designed for diverse road conditions and everyday commuting.
According to Numeros Motors, the Diplos Max underwent 13.9 million kilometers of testing across various terrains in India before its launch. The scooter comes equipped with dual disc brakes, LED lighting, and smart features like theft alerts and vehicle tracking to enhance security and convenience.
“We are thrilled by the strong response from southern markets, especially in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana,” said Soundararajan S, Vice President of Engineering at Numeros Motors. He emphasized that the vehicle is fully designed and manufactured in India to meet the needs of local consumers.
The Diplos Max features a square chassis, wider tires, and an integrated battery, motor, and controller system to ensure optimal performance. Currently operating in 14 cities, Numeros Motors aims to expand its dealer network to 170 locations by the end of the 2025-26 financial year.
The launch comes amid rapid growth in India’s electric vehicle market, driven by government policies and increased consumer awareness. Industry reports suggest that electric two-wheeler sales have more than doubled in the past year, making the segment highly competitive. Analysts believe that safety, reliability, and practical range will be key factors for success in the evolving EV landscape.
