Oben Electric has launched its Rorr EZ electric motorcycle on Amazon, offering two battery variants with up to ₹20,000 discount. The move marks the brand's entry into e-commerce to reach digital-first and first-time EV buyers.

Oben Electric has officially launched its Rorr EZ electric motorcycle on Amazon, marking the company’s debut in online retail. This strategic move is aimed at digitally savvy consumers and first-time EV buyers who prefer shopping through e-commerce platforms.

The Rorr EZ is available in two battery variants — a 3.4 kWh version priced at ₹1,19,999 and a 4.4 kWh version at ₹1,29,999, both inclusive of a flat ₹20,000 discount on their original prices.

Madhumita Agrawal, Founder and CEO of Oben Electric, stated that the launch aligns with shifting consumer behaviors, as an increasing number of customers are making big-ticket purchases online. "E-commerce is a direct way to reach tech-forward and convenience-seeking buyers," she added.

The Rorr EZ offers a top speed of 95 km/h, accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, and delivers 52 Nm of torque. It boasts an IDC-certified range of up to 175 km and is powered by Oben’s proprietary LFP battery technology, known for better heat resistance and extended life, especially suited for Indian conditions.

The bike comes with smart features such as geo-fencing, theft protection, unified brake assist, and drive assist system. It is available in four color options — Electro Amber, Surge Cyan, Lumina Green, and Photon White.

Oben is also offering a comprehensive extended warranty plan named Protect 8/80 at ₹9,999, covering 8 years or 80,000 kilometers, with full transferability to future owners.

Founded in August 2020 and headquartered in Bengaluru, Oben Electric focuses on in-house R&D and local manufacturing, holding over 25 technology patents. The company has plans to open 150+ showrooms in 50+ cities by the end of the current financial year, each equipped with dedicated service centers.

With this launch, Oben Electric aims to strengthen its presence in India’s rapidly growing EV two-wheeler market by combining online convenience with offline support infrastructure, appealing to a wider customer base.
