Bengaluru-based electric motorcycle manufacturer Oben Electric has expanded into Eastern India by launching a new showroom and service center in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. With this addition, the company’s retail network has grown to 37 showrooms across 26 cities in India.
Located in the heart of Bhubaneswar, the new outlet has been launched in response to the growing demand for electric two-wheelers in Odisha, a state rapidly emerging as a promising EV market due to favorable government policies and consumer interest in sustainable mobility.
Inspired by Oben’s Bengaluru experience center, the Bhubaneswar showroom features four interactive zones:
Moto Live for real-time product trials
Moto X to explore core components
Moto Zen for customer engagement
Moto Rack offering accessories and merchandise
The facility is complemented by Oben Care, a dedicated service center that offers maintenance, doorstep service, and roadside assistance. With in-house manufacturing of key components including batteries, Oben ensures timely servicing and spare parts availability.
The showroom will retail Oben’s flagship product, the Rorr EZ—a performance electric motorcycle fully designed and manufactured in India. It is available in three battery variants: 2.6 kWh, 3.4 kWh, and 4.4 kWh, using Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery technology. The bike boasts an IDC-certified range of up to 175 km, accelerates from 0–40 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, and reaches a top speed of 95 km/h. It supports 80% fast charging in 45 minutes.
Priced at ₹99,999 (ex-showroom), the Rorr EZ can be booked with a down payment starting from ₹7,999. As part of the launch offer, customers purchasing the bike within the first month at the Bhubaneswar outlet will receive a free gold coin.
Founded in 2020, Oben Electric designs, develops, and manufactures electric motorcycles and core components in-house. With over 25 patents, the company aims to expand its national presence in the coming months.
