Okaya EV, an established player in India's battery and electronics industry, has officially rebranded as OPG Mobility, presenting its new look ahead of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Under the new name, the firm has launched two unique sub-brands: Ferrato, which specialises in premium electric motorcycles and scooters, and OTTOPG, which focuses on passenger and cargo three-wheelers.
The rebranding represents a strategic adjustment aimed at strengthening OPG Mobility's position in India's fast-rising electric vehicle (EV) sector. At the upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo, the company will unveil its new identity and introduce its first product under the OPG Mobility brand. This event will also highlight its expanded array of electric vehicles, including improved versions of existing models bearing the OPG Mobility logo.
Speaking on this transformation, Anshul Gupta, Managing Director of OPG Mobility, said, “After years of leadership in the battery and electronics sector, we are thrilled to evolve into OPG Mobility, a holistic provider of electric vehicle solutions. This rebranding isn’t just about a new name; it’s a strategic move to align with India’s dynamic EV market. Our new identity reflects our commitment to modern design, cutting-edge technology, and a customer-centric approach.”
Gupta also highlighted the importance of the Bharat Mobility Expo as a platform to introduce the company’s refreshed vision, stating, “We will launch our first product under the OPG Mobility brand and integrate this transformation across all customer touchpoints, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience both online and offline.”
OPG Mobility plans to expand its premium service network to all major cities and tier-3 and tier-4 towns across India by 2025, ensuring widespread access to its products and services.
The company’s new logo and colour scheme—featuring black and green—represent its core values. Black signifies trust and sophistication, reflecting reliability and innovation, while green stands for sustainability and environmental responsibility. Together, the colours underline OPG Mobility’s vision of integrating advanced technology with eco-friendly solutions.
Under its Ferrato subbrand, OPG Mobility will oversee all premium two-wheeler models. The portfolio includes high-speed scooters like the Faast F4, F3, F2T, F2F, and F2B, alongside the low-speed Freedum LI. Additionally, the brand’s flagship sports bike, the Disruptor, will now be part of Ferrato’s lineup, further strengthening its presence in the premium EV market.
As India’s EV market accelerates towards widespread adoption, OPG Mobility’s rebranding signals a bold step in ensuring relevance and growth. By prioritising innovation, sustainability, and customer engagement, the company is positioning itself as a key player in shaping the future of electric mobility in India.
