South Africa-based quick-service restaurant (QSR) chain Sausage Saloon is set to enter the Indian market with a 25-store expansion in Delhi NCR. The deal has been finalized between FranGlobal, the international business arm of Franchise India, and Sausage Saloon, as part of the brand’s global expansion strategy.
Sausage Saloon operates over 120 outlets across South Africa, the UAE, and Mauritius. The 28-year-old brand specializes in quality, gourmet hotdogs, offering a variety of customizable options with globally recognized quality standards.

India’s QSR market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 9% over the next decade, driven by increasing urbanization, rising disposable incomes, and a shift in consumer preferences toward convenient and affordable dining options. With its established presence in multiple international markets, Sausage Saloon aims to tap into India’s fast-growing fast-food segment through its flexible store formats, including mall kiosks, food trucks, and standalone outlets.

The first Sausage Saloon outlets in Delhi NCR are set to launch in March 2025, with plans for further expansion already underway.
