Bangalore-based clean tech startup Simple Energy has launched its latest electric scooter, Simple OneS, offering a range of 181 km and a top speed of 105 kmph. Priced at ₹1,39,999 (ex-showroom), the scooter is designed for both city and highway commuting. The company claims it delivers the best range in its price segment, making it an attractive choice for EV enthusiasts.
The Simple OneS will be available across 15 showrooms in key cities such as Bangalore, Goa, Pune, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Vizag, Kochi, and Mangalore. The scooter features four riding modes—Eco, Ride, Dash, and Sonic—and can accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in just 2.55 seconds in Sonic mode. It is powered by an 8.5kW PMSM motor and a 3.7 kWh fixed battery, offering a blend of performance and efficiency.
Designed with advanced technology, Simple OneS includes a 7-inch touchscreen dashboard with 5G e-SIM, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity. Riders can access app integration, customizable themes, turn-by-turn navigation, and over-the-air updates. Safety features such as Find My Vehicle, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and a regenerative braking system ensure a secure riding experience. Additionally, the Park Assist function allows smooth maneuvering in tight spaces.
With the launch of Simple OneS, Simple Energy has discontinued the Simple Dot One and now offers two models—Simple One Gen 1.5 and Simple OneS. The company had earlier introduced the Gen 1.5 version of Simple One with an extended IDC range of 248 km, making it India’s longest-range electric two-wheeler. With its latest launch, Simple Energy aims to expand its footprint in the electric mobility sector, providing affordable and high-performance EVs for Indian consumers.
