Yashobhoomi (IICC) India International Convention and Expo Centre in Delhi witnessed another successful chapter in the journey of Franchise India; the electrifying 20th edition of Asia’s Largest Franchise and Business Opportunities Expo, on May 18th and 19th.
Embracing the mantra of “Building your business growth” the brands and the entrepreneurs alike came together to inspire, ideate, incubate, innovate, invest and internationalize keeping up with the spirit of franchising.
The mega event kickstarted by evoking the divine blessings of Radha Krishna, amidst the holy chants of Hare Rama, Hare Krishna, the the Chairman of the group, Gaurav Marya along with the dignitaries & Mercy Epao, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises inaugurated the expo and declared the two day grand Expo & Conference open.

Be it an investor seeking lucrative ventures or a business brand seeking innovative solutions for recovery and growth, The Franchise India Show 2024 presented everyone with a golden opportunity and drew over 40,000 investors,10,000 HNIs and 500+ national and international brands.
The first day of the Franchise India 2024 StartUp Summit 2024, a platform that explored all facets of startup success and business growth began by the inaugural note by the Editor in Chief of Franchise India Media, Ms Ritu Marya and followed by a key note speech by Mercy Epao, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises.
Franchise India is offering an apt platform to entrepreneurs & MSMES to grow and build their businesses in India & internationally. I wish them a great success. Talking about women entrepreneurs & technology, she adds “Women are leading beneficiaries of MSME schemes. Women beneficiaries have quite a good number in MSMEs. The World Franchise Congress brought together a plethora of international brands, business big-wigs and entrepreneurial masterminds that are now eyeing the burgeoning Indian market. Aligning with Franchise India, these brands are paving their entry route into the Indian waters and are all set to surprise and delight the Indian consumer. This stage saw these brands, cutting across various sectors like sports, education and F&B, with interesting concepts and innovative ideas talk about exciting opportunities and vast potential that is waiting to be tapped into. The sessions were were teeming with attentive entrepreneurs, the potential franchisees who lapped up every information and inspiration that came their way.
The climax of the show was the star-studded award ceremony. The prestigious Franchise and Star Retailer Awards ceremony was held on the concluding day, May19th, 2024, at Yashobhoomi only and recognized top brands for their exceptional contributions to the business landscape throughout the year. Celebrating the business excellence with the Franchise Awards and Star Retailer Awards, the two day event saw Bollywood actor Arbaaz Khan, NBA Veteran Larry Hughes and high-end jewellery designer Farah Khan gracing the event. All the celebrities not just attended the occasion but also participated in the expo as entrepreneurs.
