Logistics startup Pickkup, specializing in mid-mile and last-mile delivery solutions, has raised $500,000 in a seed funding round led by We Founder Circle (WFC). The round also saw participation from angel investors across India, Australia, and the United States, the company announced on Tuesday.
The Chandigarh-based startup plans to utilize the funds to expand its electric vehicle (EV) fleet, strengthen its team, and invest in technology to enhance logistics efficiency. Operating with a 100% electric fleet, Pickkup aims to reduce carbon emissions in the light commercial vehicle (LCV) delivery segment.
“Our vision is to build a sustainable, tech-driven logistics ecosystem that maximizes fleet utilization while minimizing environmental impact,” said Ankush Sharma, Co-Founder and CEO of Pickkup. He added that the company intends to optimize cross-utilization of its EV fleet, ensuring maximum operational hours while leveraging the lower running costs of electric vehicles.
Expressing confidence in the investment, Neeraj Tyagi, Co-Founder and CEO of We Founder Circle, highlighted WFC’s previous successful investments in logistics startups such as Zypp Electric, Evify, and Traqo.
Founded by Ankush Sharma, Chandra Shekhar, and Upma Sharma, Pickkup is entering a rapidly expanding logistics market where sustainability is becoming a key focus. With the rise of e-commerce and quick commerce services, the last-mile delivery segment in India has seen significant growth in recent years.
This investment comes at a time when India is accelerating electric vehicle adoption across commercial logistics to curb pollution and meet climate commitments. Government initiatives, including EV subsidies and the development of charging infrastructure, have further created a favorable ecosystem for sustainable logistics startups like Pickkup.
