Raman started his career as a software engineer with Sapient Corporation. He left Sapient to pursue his MBA from IIM Lucknow where he secured the top Investment Banking job with HSBC in London.
Over the next 4 years, he worked in Investment Banking roles at HSBC and at Lazard, focusing on Financial Advisory, Business Restructuring and cross-border M&A
transactions.
In 2008, he left Investment Banking and London, to return to India to work in the Education space. He joined Educomp senior management as Vice President of Corporate Affairs to focus on Corporate Strategy, Joint Ventures & Alliances, New Business Development and Investor Relations. He has been with Educomp for 6 years now and in June 2013, he was made Managing Director of Educomp Childcare Pvt Ltd, Educomp’s preschool division.
