Rod has over 30 years experience in franchising, licensing and business development in Australia, Europe, China, South East Asia, India and the United States and is considered one of the world’s leading franchise consultants. He is a versatile management professional with a broad range and depth of experience establishing a consulting conglomerate developing networks and brands and has been a key advisor to some of Australasia’s leading groups. His advice has transformed smaller businesses into national and international chains and has steered larger organisations in using franchising or licensing as a management and marketing tool. He currently serves as Chairman of Hairhouse Warehouse (Australian Franchisor of the Year 2011), and is the Executive Chairman and Global CEO of Cartridge World and serves on the Board of several national and international companies. A recognised authority in the area of franchising and business development, Rod has contributed extensively to major media including television, radio and press as well as being a regular speaker at seminars and conferences in Australia, the United States, China, India and Asia. He is endorsed by the Franchise Council of Australia to deliver education modules in the FCA /University of NSW Accredited Franchise Executive Program, is a Visiting Professor of Beijing Normal University, Zhuhai, PRC, a Board Member of the Indian Franchise Association, develops content and presents parts of the US International Franchise Association Certified Franchise Executive Programin the United States andis a regular contributor at annual IFA conventions in the US.
